I bought 4 copies of “My Mama’s Medicine” and gifted 3 to my friends’ daughters, knowing they would read them together and appreciate the beautiful story. The 4th book I gave to a dear friend who is an incredible auntie to many children, especially her two nieces. This book is a labor of love dedicated to raising up the next generation with deeper connection to themselves and the earth, and remind children of their innate capacity for healing. It’s well written and perfect to teach future generation about plant medicine. Love the “grown up glossary” for adults too. This needs be in schools and libraries everywhere! I loved the book. It was informative even for a kids book. Its well written but clear enough for a 9 year old to follow and understand. The art was very cute and its extra special to know its based on a true mommy and daughter. I hope they publish more books!
